Sitting here with Jenny and Emily watching the New Year's Eve activities on TV.  Family played a game of Apples to Apples before Jim and Logan fell asleep.  Not entirely sure that I will stay awake to ring in the new year. 

FedEx finally delivered my Christmas present from Jim yesterday.  A new iPhone 6.  I'm totally in love with it.       Went to Longhorn last night with some couples from Jim's office.  Had a really good time.  Rachel came by today and chatted up a storm as usual.  Jim is off work tomorrow and ball games start around noon, so it will be all about the TV and snacks!!! 

Day with the "Baby"

The "Baby" (Emily) and I took the day off yesterday and spent our time out to lunch and shopping.  We combed the mall, Burlington, Walmart and anywhere else that struck our fancy.  Lunch at Red Robin also included their famous fried dough tower!!!!  There was no way we could eat all the food that was ordered and when our poor waiter came around came around and asked if we wanted "to go boxes", Emily looked at him like he had 6 eyes and 2 noses and said "Well, YEA"...lol  Glad he had a sense of humor.  Also got her ears pierced.  Of course we had to tell the clerk that she could make her own decisions and sign her own paperwork because she is 18.  No one ever believes that...lol.  We had an excellent day together and I know they are coming to an end and I will be replaced with a life of her own, but I am enjoying every minute I can.
