Gratitude Journal states for #8 that I should list a skill or talent that I have...I can say for sure that my biggest talent is ADD....I have severe "ooohhhhh Shiny " syndrome. I can't tell you how many times I have sat down to write and go down a rabbit hole on some other internet journey only to realize that I forgot to blog at all.😏 Anyway - my talents and skills are varied, but as the saying goes...I'm a Jack of All Trades and a master of none...but I have fun and isn't that the point?
On to other news...I took a trip to Gainesville to see the 3 children who are there.( mostly went for the grandchildren though 😄). Had a great time with them all and left Jim home to work and deal with the cat by himself...He had to spend a weekend alone and fend for himself but he survived and did well. Extremely grateful to have me back home though. I'm starting to get a little nervous traveling by myself so I don't know how many more times I will be doing that but I'll keep going until I can't anymore.
Finally finished an afghan that I had been working on for a while. Over 500 individual small granny squares...then laid out in pattern and hand sewn together. Whew!! Maybe another I'll make one like it in a different color next winter.
I know that I'm really behind technology, but I have just discovered USB light bulbs!!! Game changer!!! I can now put lamps wherever I want to without having power!!! I see alot of those in my future!!!
We have given Tabby the nickname of Gladys as in Kravitz...every night we walk by my office and see her sitting in the window being nosy and watching the neighborhood happenings 😼
That's all for tonight. Maybe I can remember to write again without too much of a time lapse.
